WHAT’S GOOD?
First of all WELCOME!! I am so glad we’ve found each other. My name is Micah and I am the man behind the cam! I’m a South Carolina transplant, following my amazing wife and her career after being a Texas native. I’ve been doing life with my main (only) squeeze, Karli, for a while now (16 years together, 12 years married)!! She has brought us to a place that we now call home and are beginning to lay our roots down here in Florence, SC as she begins her career as a Pediatric Neonatologist. We have been blessed with three amazing boys Marshall (9), Harrison (6) and Beckett (2). We are a pretty easy going family; we love to be out doors hiking, biking, working out…basically anything active. However, I do love myself some nice chill time at home lounging around and playing the occasional video game! I am a connoisseur of hamburgers, beer, bourbon, whiskey and wine! . I was let go of my corporate career mid 2018 and decided to pick up my camera equipment and start back up where I left off in college! It has been a blessing to pursue my passion and my joy and to be able to be at home with my wife and kids, no longer having to keep my children in daycare for 12 hours a day!! Also I LOVE exclamation points. I’m always so happy when I’m texting or typing I just want people to know how happy I am!!!
I want to be your friend before I’m your photographer. This is so important to me for a couple of reasons: 1. I need more friends:) and 2. It makes sure that we are so comfortable with each other when we go out and take your pictures!
My Families & Couples are my escape! I’m here to capture your moments unfold! I’m here to make sure everything runs smoothly, being that weird third wheel, and ensure that everyone is laughing, having a great time and comfortable. I’m not about that posing life. I want to capture your life, your genuine moments; like those candy bribes to keep the kids happy, the big laughs and the cries, the sweet kisses and the sloppy ones!

MY GOALS?
When working with my clients I have 4 main goals. Whether I have photographed you before or you are new to me:
Comfort: Before taking a single picture I will always ask if there is anything or any “poses” that may make you feel uncomfortable. I also want to know your ideas…I get it, you’re hiring me to come up with those! As true as that is, I also understand you may have some input as to what you’d like to capture and I do not want to ignore that.
Natural Interactions: I want our time together to be and feel as natural as possible. This will only result in GREAT images. Granted I understand a camera is not in your face all the time. This is only accomplished by building a relationship before hand and not being complete strangers on day one. I love learning about my clients before our sessions. Whether it be by some text’s back and forth , phone calls, or meeting up for a drink of coffee!
Your LIFE and LOVE: As a lifestyle photographer I want to capture your “YOU”. Whether that means you are goofy, serious, have crazy kiddos or kiddos that don’t like to smile. That is your LIFE and that is the story of your LOVE that needs to be captured.
A Friendship: My clients typically turn out to be some of my best friends. I do not want to be your photographer for this one moment. I want to capture your life as it un-folds. From engagements to marriages, pregnancies to newborns and families!
